Shen Lu Yi was a little willful girl who loved fantasies. She had just graduated from the primary school and due to the school holidays, she decided to work at a chalet owned by her uncle. Her uncle's chalet, "Little Paradise", was situated at Kaka Beach.
In actual fact, Lu Yi's main purpose for working at the chalet was to find a friend, Hai Lan, whom she had befriended through the internet. Lu Yi and Hai Lan had never met face to face and they had not even exchanged photos of each other. They did not ask about each other's gender, age, or family background, as if it was an unspoken agreement between them. When Lu Yi had any problems, Hai Lan would give her very good advice. So, when Lu Yi knew that Hai Lan was going for a vacation to Kaka Beach, she decided to meet Hai Lan there.
At "Little Paradise", Lu Yi met some interesting people. Shiao Rou, who worked at the chalet too, Wang Zi, who was learning surfing at Kaka Beach, the kite-seller at the beach, Shui Wei, and also the melancholic tenant Sister Yan. There were plenty of ups and downs in her totally new life, and unknowningly, she managed to learn a lot there. It was something she had never expected.
